The lake at Camp Hope is a 10 acre lake that is great for fishing, canoeing and just plain ole enjoying the view. You can enjoy catching and releasing large mouth bass, catfish, red gill and blue gill fish. There are also plenty of turtles swimming around on the bottom of the lake you can see if you quietly sneak up on them. Campers can enjoy time canoeing out on the water honing their canoeing skills, splashing one another and trying not to tip over into the water.
The zip line starts on a hill across the lake and runs approx. 1800 feet across the lake ending up on a slight rise. If you want to step out of your comfort zone this is the activity to do so.
The dining hall is heated and air conditioned for use year round. The rock fireplace adds a country style flavor to the dining hall with meals prepared by the camp kitchen staff.
The lodge is the newest addition to the Camp Hope facilities with eighteen rooms which face the lake off of the multi-purpose building. Each room is heated and air conditioned with its own bathroom. Camp provids the bed linen and campers must supply their own bathroom linen.
The indoor chapel is used mainly in the spring and fall when temperatures outside still get pretty cool at night. The room is heated and air conditioned. There is a sound system and digital projector available for use in the chapel along with an overhead projector. The chapel can hold approx. 125 people.
The gym is a great place to have activities on a rainy day or to hang out with your friends for a game of carpet pool.
The rec room contains two pool tables, two ping pong tables, foos ball and a sitting area for campers and staff to talk with one another.
